How does J&M’s sustainability system work?

JONDI&MOON relies on innovative solutions to significantly reduce waste in the cosmetics industry. Our sustainability system is based on the use of advanced mono-material refill pouches for our glass dispensers. These pouches are made from a single type of plastic, as opposed to traditional refill options that consist of multiple layers of different materials. The key feature of our refill pouches is their material uniformity. As the bags and the closure are made from a single type of plastic, they can be easily returned to the recycling loop via the recycling garbage. This homogeneous material composition ensures that the bags are recycled completely and with high quality instead of ending up in the waste incineration plant. By consistently using our glass dispensers together with the recyclable refill pouches, the amount of waste can be significantly reduced. Compared to conventional cosmetic packaging, which is often only used once and then disposed of, our glass dispensers can be refilled again and again. This results in an impressive reduction in waste of around 94 %. Our approach not only supports the reduction of packaging waste, but also promotes the sustainable use of resources.
